The best time to contact me is right after you've made an offer on your home or when you are getting ready to put your home on the market.
SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
Typically the buyer, a real estate agent and the home inspector are present at the inspection, and the sellers are not present, however this in not always necessary depending on the circumstances. We can discuss your specific needs and schedule an appointment that works best for you.
THE INSPECTION
The inspection takes 2-4 hours but depends on the size and condition of the structure. I bring everything I will need to properly inspect the building. Upon arrival, I get to work. I source through each and every corner of the house making notes. I may draw certain things to your attention so that you are aware of items mentioned in the report.
THE REPORT
A detailed report of the buildings condition will be issued no later than 24 after the inspection to the buyers and the buyer's real estate agent. I am always available to discuss any question you have with the building or the report. To view a sample report please CLICK HERE.
CONTRACT NEGOTIATION/APPROVAL
Depending on the findings of the report, you may then approve or negotiate your real estate contract; you and your real estate agent can discuss what is best.
